Refund Policy

At Sumigyan, we strive to deliver premium web development and design services tailored to meet our clients unique needs. We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and transparency throughout the project lifecycle. However, we understand that certain situations may call for a refund. This document outlines the conditions and procedures for requesting a refund. Please read carefully before initiating any projects with us.

1. Consultation Fees

Before any project initiation, we offer consultation services to assess project scope and requirements. A consultation fee of 10% of the total project cost or INR 500 (whichever is greater) is applicable before any development begins. This fee is non-refundable once paid. If the client decides to move forward with the project, this amount will be deducted from the total project cost.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • If you cancel the project before any development work has started.
  • If the initial deliverables are unsatisfactory, and the issue is communicated within 2 business days.
  • If milestones are not met due to our failure to deliver as per the agreed terms.

Refunds will not be issued under the following conditions:

  • If the project is canceled after development work has commenced.
  • If delays are caused by the client’s failure to provide necessary feedback or resources.
  • If dissatisfaction is based on subjective preferences after the completion of approved milestones.

3. Non-Refundable Clause After Project Initiation

Once the project has been initiated and development work has commenced, all payments are non-refundable. This includes the consultation fee, deposit, and any further project-based payments. Clients are encouraged to carefully review the project scope and milestones before giving final approval to proceed.

4. Deposit Payments

We require a 20% deposit of the total project cost before any work begins. The deposit is non-refundable once the project is underway. However, if the client cancels the project before any work starts, the full deposit will be refunded. Post-commencement, no refund of the deposit will be possible.

5. Partial Refunds

If a project is canceled after partial completion, a refund may be issued for the portion of the work not yet completed. Refunds for work already completed will not be granted. The refund amount will be determined based on the completed milestones.

6. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, please contact us in writing at contact@sumigyan.in. Ensure your request includes:

  • Your full name and contact information
  • Detailed explanation of the issue leading to the refund request
  • Supporting evidence such as correspondence, project milestones, or contracts

We will review your request and respond within 10 business days to discuss the next steps.

7. No Refunds for Completed Projects

Once a project has been fully completed and signed off by the client, no refunds will be issued. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure thorough review and feedback at each milestone to avoid issues upon project completion.

8. Changes to This Policy

Sumigyan reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
